This website and newsletter are run by Jason Collings, author of the Alaric von Trelow Mysteries. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information I collect, why, and what I do with it. If you have any questions, you can reach me at hello@jason-collings.com.
The only personal information I collect is what you choose to give me:
Your email address (and your name, if you provide it) when you sign up for my newsletter, The Alaric von Trelow Casebook, or when you request a free story or other download.
I do not ask for, or collect, any other personal details.
I use your email address for one purpose only: to send you my newsletter and occasional updates about my books, such as new releases and offers. If you have requested a free download, I also use it to deliver that to you.
I will never send you anything you did not sign up for.
Your email address is stored securely using two trusted services that help me run my newsletter and deliver my books:
MailerLite, which manages my mailing list and sends my emails.
BookFunnel, which delivers my free stories and other downloads, and passes your email address to my MailerLite list when you sign up for one.
Both are established companies that handle your data in line with data protection law. Your information is used only to run my newsletter and downloads, and for nothing else.
I will never sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal information to anyone.
I will never share your details with third parties for their own marketing.
I will never send your information to anyone except the services named above, which exist solely to deliver my own emails and books to you.
You are always in control:
Unsubscribe at any time. Every subscriber email I send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from my list, and I will stop emailing you.
Ask what I hold. You can email me at hello@jason-collings.com to ask what information I have about you, or to ask me to correct or delete it. I will do so promptly.
This website uses only the basic cookies needed for it to work properly. I do not use your browsing to build a profile of you or to sell advertising.
If I ever change how I handle your information, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
